Location: Visiting shops and offering support and lots of enthusiasm.
Experience: Extensive experience in Criminal Justice, working with vulnerable and excluded people.
Hobby: Anything historical - documentaries, fiction and visiting old places.
Working Days: Volunteer work off site.
I have been an active member of St. Mary’s Church, Prittlewell, for the past 30 years, and really value the opportunity to take Christian mission out into the local community.
Why did you get involved?
I am one of the Team of Trustees – I am eager to work with and promote such a great local charity, as I have a huge belief that people can make positive changes in their lives if they want to, and I want to help make a difference.
Impressions?
Shared Space feels like one big community, into which everyone is welcomed as an individual. The people I have met have all been really friendly and happy in whatever they have been doing.
Any hopes for the future?
I am looking forward to learning more about the charity, how it works, all the good things it has done and will continue to do, and to offer whatever support I can to help it to grow in the future.
