You could almost throw a stone from Shared Space Southchurch to Belle Vue Baptist Church, not that we’d want to as we’re best of friends.
When we opened the shop in 2016 we had already developed a strong relationship with the church which has developed into a partnership. Belle Vue Baptist Church will be helping with the spiritual life of the shop and several members of the church are part of our regular team of volunteers.
The church helped us with volunteers to renovate the shop premises in Southchurch Road before we opened. They pray for us regularly and we love their existing work hosting Southchurch Foodbank on their premises.
We look forward to working with them in exciting ways.
